In 1999 and 2000, Nensi led the media campaigns for the League of Canadian Poets’ National Poetry Month. Nensi
- produced press kits and email releases that were disseminated to over 1000 media outlets;
- motivated hundreds of bookstores, libraries, publishers and many other organisations to hold performances, poetry readings and contests; and
- copublished and acted as executive producer for “Carnivocal”, an anthology of Canadian sound poetry.
The publicity achieved national coverage of National Poetry month in television, radio and print media, aiding the league’s goal of promoting poetry among the Canadian audience.
